Description: Trauma-Informed 101

Trauma has become a focus throughout healthcare, the media, institutions, and is discussed frequently in our society. But why? Join us for a deep dive into what trauma is, how it impacts ourselves, our friends, family, neighbors, and colleagues throughout all aspects of our lives, the neurobiology of trauma, and the power of resilience individually and collectively.

Description: Specialized Advocacy Training

Learn how our understanding of traumatic events and the neurobiology of trauma informs our care and advocacy for victims and survivors of crime. Gain valuable tools for assisting clients through traumatic memories or crisis incidents, and learn the importance of the professional focus of resilience when working with traumatized individuals.

To register for continuing education credits for this training (requires attendance to both the morning and afternoon sessions), email your name and organization to info@ministryofhope.us.

Soaking Worship Healing Service

Date: TBD

Vineyard Columbus East Campus

333 Jericho Road

Pickerington, OH 43147

Cost: FREE

Our Soaking Worship Healing service for next Tuesday will be a beautiful time to dial down and invite the Holy Spirit to wash over us, fill our whole being, and heal our wounds.

Soak in God's presence, invite healing into your whole person. One of the fruits of resting in the presence of God is quietness and confidence. This becomes the source of our strength - both spiritually and physically. We are reminded that salvation means wholeness - to make well or whole; to deliver, heal and preserve.

The service will include healing spiritual practices and an extensive time of soaking worship, so feel free to bring a blanket, pillows and whatever else you need to make yourself comfortable.

Cost: FREE!
