The weight loss journey can sometimes be a long, lonely and frustrating process, but it doesn’t have to be. Perhaps you have previously focused on willpower alone and found minimal or unsustainable results. You may not realize that you have areas of strength that can help shore up your weaknesses. The goal of Wholly Yours is to provide a context where you can experience companionship as you learn to bring your whole being into the process: physical, intellectual, emotional, relational and spiritual.  You will learn how to improve your chances of sticking with the process as you grow into greater wholeness one small step at a time - right foot, left foot.

This spring we will be offering two Wholly Yours groups on Zoom. One group will meet weekly on Mondays at 6:30 PM and the other group will meet biweekly on Saturday mornings at 10:00 AM. The informational content for both the weeknight and Saturday sessions will be the same, but the group coaching experience is very dynamic based on the group participants.

We will kick the spring sessions off with our introductory Meditation & Creative Practice for a discounted price of $10. This session will introduce you to the whole person wellness model we use in Wholly Yours and give you a taste of what Wholly Yours is like.

Here are some important next steps that we need you to take in order to participate.

  • A signed Still Waters client agreement is required for participation in the Wholly Yours program sessions. To view and acknowledge the agreement, click the button at the bottom of this page.

  • Registration is required.

  • The cost of the sessions is $25 each. You can pay for each session separately or for all five sessions at once.

  • Payment can be made on our web store. Alternatively, payment can be made via PayPal, Venmo, Cash app, Chase Quick Pay (still.waters.dixie@gmail.com), or Zelle (still.waters.dixie@gmail.com).

  • A Google Meets link and dial in number will be sent to you once payment is received.

Wholly Yours is a faith-based weight loss program that activates your whole person in the weight loss process. You will learn to see how the various dimensions of your being (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Relational, and Spiritual) affect and are affected by your current state of holistic wellbeing. You will discover tools that will help you to leverage all of these wellness dimensions in order to find the greatest level of success possible towards your weight loss goal. We will focus on one wellness dimension each week (Physical, Intellectual, Emotional, Relational, and Spiritual) and you will choose a weekly action step corresponding to that week’s dimension focus.

The whole person wellness model used in Wholly Yours was developed by Dr. William Malarkey from the Ohio State University College of Medicine as outlined in his book Finding J.O.Y. (Amazon link below). You are encouraged to buy a copy of the book to use as a personal devotional during the 5 week program period. However, using the book is not required for participation in the Wholly Yours program and the program meetings will not overtly reference book materials.

Your Wholly Yours Program Coaches

Meetings will be facilitated by two health and wellness coaches showing you how to invite your whole self into your goal of losing weight.

American Council on Exercise Health & Fitness Coach

I am blessed to be on a successful fit lifestyle journey that started in my forties. I am certified by the American Council on Exercise to teach group fitness and to provide health coaching. I enjoy encouraging others to take that baby step toward a goal and then cheering them on as they run to the finish line. I am a believer that exercise is for everyone, you just have find what gets you gets you moving.

Dixie Vargo
Certified Wellness Inventory Facilitator

With over 25 years work experience in healthcare and spiritual direction training, my greatest joy is to companion people on their journey towards wholeness. My coaching style focuses on discovery of a healing and sustainable life balance, finding your strengths that can shore up your weaknesses, and discovery of a healthier sense of wellbeing and a more complete overall wholeness through the awakening of all the dimensions of self. I am also a member of The Order of Sustainable Faith, the monastic expression of the Vineyard movement. As a monk, I will often use guided reflection and contemplative practices to help awaken the awareness of life truths previously hidden or unclear.

Program Cost

The cost of the Wholly Yours program is $25 per session. This is savings of 50-75% compared to other health and wellness coaches in the Westerville area. Wholly Yours also provides two coaches, with distinct and complementary skill sets, whereas most other coaching services only have one. In addition, Wholly Yours is a group experience, offering participants the chance to meet new friends with a mutual goal. In a group setting, you will find encouragement, camaraderie, and shared celebration of your success.
